Stephanie Joe, MD

Dr. Joe is Director of the The Nasal & Sinus Center and Co-Director of the Skull Base Program at UIC.

Dr. Stephanie A. Joe is board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and has practiced otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat surgery) since 1997. Her education started in Houston Texas at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston where she attending medical school and completed residency training. She has a unique educational and training background having undertaken fellowship training in two subspecialties of otolaryngology. Her subspecialty training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery took place in Baltimore, Maryland at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions under the direction of Drs. John Frodel and Ira Papel. With this training, she performs surgery addressing anatomic nasal problems to improve nasal breathing, including septal deviation, nasal deformities and nasal fractures. She completed Rhinology and Sinus Surgery fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Otorhinolaryngology under the direction of Drs. David Kennedy and William Bolger. This specialty deals with nasal and sinus disorders including nasal congestion, postnasal drip, allergies and rhinosinusitis. This background allows her to fully address your nasal and sinus complaints inside and out!

Dr. Joe provides complete care for your nasal and sinus problems. The sinus and nasal center uses advanced techniques to formulate your diagnosis. We then discuss our findings with you and develop an individualized treatment plan to meet your needs.
